I'm an independent journalist who covers human resources, analytics and related technologies. In addition to editing WorkforceAI.News, I've written for TechTarget, HR Magazine, SHRM Online, Workforce, Dice Insights and the web sites of IBM, WinterWyman, GuideSpark and Staffing Industry Analysts. My HR Magazine story on hiring former prisoners won the Society of Professional Journalists/DC Chapter’s Deadline Award for best trade-media feature article.

I've got this geeky thing going on about modern HR. I was one of the first to report on how algorithms have changed the recruiter’s role, the growing need for Chief Analytics Officers and the synergies between artificial intelligence and analytics. I've also covered trends in software development, enterprise technology and online consumer products. As Managing Editor of Dice, my content-development strategy resulted in a year-on-year traffic increase of 58 percent.

 

I report and write from Bucks County, Pa., outside of Philadelphia. My wife, a recovering organizational psychologist, writes about business.
